Radiology and Imaging
The goal of the Radiology Department at Northern Cochise Community Hospital is to ensure patients receive excellent quality care in the most expedient and professional manner possible.
Our Radiology Department provides services from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday. All emergent exams during non-working hours will be provided by an on-call technologist 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, including holidays.
G.E. Discovery XR650 (Digital X-Ray System)
NCCH is proud to feature a state-of-the-art, G.E. Discovery XR650. This completely automated, digital X-Ray system means short, comfortable exams for our patients; fast, confident diagnosis; 50% reduction in X-Ray dose; fewer re-takes; and improved diagnoses.
Additional comfort is provided for patients because of the automated steps and flexible configurations, completely automated positioning, elevating table, and Tilting wall stand.
DeXA (DXA) for Bone Health
Dual-energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DXA) is considered the most highly developed and most thoroughly validated technique for assessing bone mineral density, according to the World Health Organization's report on the "Prevention and Management of Osteoporosis." It can help diagnose osteoporosis, predict fractures, and monitor response to treatment. This new service is available now at NCCH!
